Graduate Studies

You have made a good choice in exploring Seton Hill for your graduate education! The programs have been carefully designed by the faculty and given full scrutiny by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The programs are applied in nature, designed to make you scholar-practitioners in your fields. The format of each program keeps in mind that you are busy people, with lives and work besides your academic interests. We have made every effort to make the graduate program user-friendly. There are numerous support services open for your use and a library that is accessible from your home computer.

But don't be misled. The programs are tough. They demand rigor in your efforts and attention. You need to be aware of the demands of the syllabus and the faculty's policy on absences. You should expect to spend at least twice as much time outside of class in reading and studying as you spend in class each week. You may need to rearrange your priorities during these few years of your life while you pursue graduate work. We have excellent faculty, a combination of our full-time faculty members and adjuncts who have been chosen for their expertise in their fields, all of them can bring you the cutting edge of scholarship and practice in their disciplines. You have embarked on an exciting adventure and we are here to support and encourage you in any way we can.
