Nina Denninger
Program Director and Associate Professor. M.A., Goddard College; B.A. City College of New York; Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist, A.T.R. - BC. Ms. Denninger has designed and directed undergraduate and graduate art therapy programs and has taught art therapy since 1979. Her clinical work includes private practice and she was the art therapist at a school for the deaf in New York City.

Alvaro Q. Barriga
Assistant Professor. Ph.D., M.A., B.A., Ohio State University. Dr. Barriga has published and continues to actively pursue research on social cognition in the development of adolescent aggression and depression- He is well-versed in the areas of developmental and social psychology.

Mary Ann Gawelek
Professor and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College. Ed.D., M.Ed., Boston University; B.A., University of Steubenville; Licensed Psychologist/Health Service Provider. Dr. Gawelek Was honored by the Massachusetts Mental Health Counseling Association for "her outstanding contributions- to the field of counseling." Psychology of women, diversity, clinical supervision and professional ethics are her areas of scholarly interest.

Lawrence Jesky
Associate Professor. B.A., M.A., University of Detroit. Mr. Jesky has been with the psychology department at Seton Hill since 1972. His areas of scholarly interest include Experimental and Industrial Psychology and Organizational Development.

Cynthia A. Magistro
Professor. Ph.D., M.A., B.S., Duquesne University. Dr. Magistro has been involved in clinical work with chronic mental illness, anxiety and depression, and psychological issues related to medical problems. Her teaching arid research interests include existential phenomenological approaches to psychology, psychology of gender and feminist psychology.
