The History Program

    The study of history provides students with the research, writing, and analytical skills required for a wide variety of interesting careers.  History majors enter the fields of teaching, government service, research, journalism, business and industry, law, graduate studies, and political office. The faculty encourages all seniors to take one of the standard professional school exams such as the GRE or LSAT.

    The study of political science provides the solid background needed for a wide variety of interesting careers.  Political science majors enter the fields of law, paralegal studies, graduate studies, governmental service, teaching and research, business and industry, journalism, social welfare, interest groups, and political office.
