Lexis-Nexis: Quick Search

In this example, we'll use the "Quick Search" feature of Lexis-Nexis to locate resources relevant to violence in the media. The Quick Search interface allows you to construct a search and locate useful documents without having to employ special search syntax or commands (see screenshots below).

Quick Search is good when you're looking for a few quick documents on a topic. The "Guided News Search" interface is much more powerful -- use the Guided News Search when you want to focus on a particular topic or segment of published material.
