Computer Use

Public access computers (PCs only) are located on the main level of the library. All of the workstations have internet access and are intended for library research only. Inappropriate use of the library computers (Internet Relay Chat, Instant Messaging, Napster, etc) ,may result in the suspension of library borrowing privileges.

Each public access computer is connected to a networked laser printer that is located in the library staff office area. Seton Hill University affiliated users may print to the laser printer for a fee of 5 cents per page. For those not affiliated, the cost is 25 cents per page.

All of the PCs are equipped with 3.5" disk drives, and most are equipped with 100MB Zip Drives

Library users may not load their own software onto the library computers

Any misuse or abuse of library computers may result in the suspension of library borrowing privileges.
