  • The Charles Edison Life Science Computer Laboratory opened. Students' study of physiology, ecology and genetics is enhanced by the data acquisition and analysis capabilities and visual learning software programs.
  • Active Biology, Chemistry and Math/Computer Science Clubs. The Chemistry Club has earned the American Chemical Society's Outstanding Award for ten consecutive years. This award ranks the club in the top twenty-five in the nation.

  • Summer internships and research opportunities in industry and academia.
  • Competitive academic scholarships: Scott Biology, Bettwy/Westinghouse Chemistry, and Seton Hill University Mathematics/ Computer Science.
  • A tradition of successful alumnae in industry, business, government, medicine, all areas of the health profession, veterinarian medicine and teaching.

I invite you to explore the Division pages and learn more about the degree options in each area. Our mission is to provide students, especially women, with the learning environment that will foster creative and productive mathematicians, scientists, physician assistants, dieticians, and computer scientists for the world in which they will live.
